A heart divine was graced to me,

At times I’m but a drop so small,
At times I rise, an ocean tall.

At times in ignorance I stray,
No sense, no clue, I lose my way,
At times through wisdom’s path I run,
Like Galen or Luqman become.

At times a giant beast I seem,
A ghost who haunts a broken dream,
At times I fly with queens in air,
And rule all beings everywhere.

At times I bow in holy prayer,
My face pressed low with deepest care,
At times I walk through churches wide,
And read the Gospel by their side.

At times like Jesus I arise,
And call the dead with living cries,
At times I walk with Pharaoh’s pride,
And in his palace I reside.

At times I turn to Gabriel bright,
And spread pure mercy, peace, and light,
At times astray, I lose my flame,
Poor Yunus stands in love and shame.
